Serialism Records, a London based label born in 2007 after DJ/Producer Cesare Marchese aka Cesare vs Disorder (Queen Atom) with Stefano Pellegrini and Alejandro Lopez Ross aka Rudolf wanted to take their musical influence up a notch.  Having been DJ’ing and producing for years the trio felt there was a need to express their passion about what being privileged enough to release music really means.

‘Serialism’, literally meaning music that uses a definite order of notes as a thematic basis for a musical composition or as Bandur described it in 2005 “a way of relating the human mind to the world and creating a completeness when dealing with a subject".  It’s very much a philosophy that the label remain with today, a collaboration of people, sounds and styles that stem elegantly together to create a formation that works.  A community of Producers, DJ’s, Artists and music lovers brought together from different corners of the world to be unique.

Focusing on the Techno and House side of electronic music Serialism has gained recognition internationally over the last few years for its roster of artists and array of eclectic releases and collaborations.  Since 2007 when Serialism was started the label has released, remixed and collaborated with respected names such as Cesar Merveille, Ahmet Sisman, Seuil, Ekkohaus, Queen Atom, Marco Shuttle, Rico Casazza, Grimes Adhesif, Shaun Reeves..
The label, with its sister Mean Records has been gaining international recognition and support from a wide
array of artists such as Luciano, Laurent Garnier, Sven Vath, Troy Pierce, Camea, Quenum, Maetrik, Okein, Jonnhy D, Robert Dietz, Stacey Pullen, Mark Henning, Glimpse, Someone Else, Miss Fitz, Audio Werner, Le K, Jeremy P Caulfield, Kate Simko, Easy Changes, BigBully to name a few...
Working alongside its sister Mean Records, Serialism is now housed under the roof of EssentialReload, a team that consists of various aspects from Booking Agency, A&R, Press and Distribution.

With nine 12” releases to date Serialism’s productions vary in style from elegant refined house to slow techno and soulful grooves, always merging together to form trippy beats that lull us into the sound and the movement that follows.  Jazz and swing influences incased in industrial minimal and bouncy house stem effortlessly through Serialism’s signature, reminding us of the influences and roots were the artists come from.  A sequence of noises arranged logically in the time line, a meeting of numbers and rhythms, a farm of repetition, loopy journeys backward and downward, forward and upward...gloomy electronic signals: these are our thoughts for the dance floor.
